Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park
Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield is a 2,884-acre park which features more than 17 miles of trails. The visitor’s center has information regarding the civil war items and the different areas. You can see the surrounding areas from the top of the mountain.
Museum of Locomotive History and Civil War
The museum features the great locomotive chase during the civil war. The southern museum and the locomotive history tell the railroads history through archives, special exhibits, museum collections and the library.
Smith-Gilbert Garden
The visitors can check the gardens and home surroundings of an 1840s plantation home. There are more than 3000 species and 30 sculptures from the nationally known artists available for exhibition. There are also opportunities available for bird watching in the 13-acre site.
